Helmut Grottrup
Engineering. It's all I've ever done
Helmut Grottrup. A German engineer, he worked for Germany in WWII to Engineer rockets. Then in 1946, he headed off to Russia, where Helmut was one of the masterminds behind rebuilding the concept of German rocketry. Then, in 1983-1984, Helmut and Jurgen Dethloff invented the first concept of the smart card under the company Giesecke & Devrient. I see him as a notable, as no matter who he worked under, he always showed his talent and cooperation with no doubt in the company itself, knowing that this was what he loved and what he wanted to give.
